Description/Application
Differentialpressure balancing valves are used to achieve dynamic hydraulic balance inheating and cooling systems.
Themeaning of dynamic balance is: in a variable flow system, when the load changesfrom 0% to 100%, the system maintains a continuous balance by controlling thepressure change in the system. At the time of partial load, when the controlflow of the regulator is reduced, the pressure limit is still used to achievedynamic balance.
Maximum flow limited
The flow limiting function is achieved by combining the differentialpressure control valve HTV03023 with a configurable end valve. The flowlimiting function prevents end underflow and makes the pump work moreefficiently.
Reduced noise
Limiting the pressure difference at both ends of the regulatingvalve can avoid excessive pressure drop at both ends of the regulating valveunder partial load, and make the noise of the regulating valve under partialload less.
Do not need to balancedebugging
Flow limits are achieved by setting eachhydraulic loop as an independent loop that does not interact with each other sothat it only needs to be set once. No special balancing measures are needed.Can greatly save debugging costs.

Design
The HTV03023 is designed to maintain aconstant set pressure difference. The pressure of the return pipe acts on thelower volume of the control diaphragm, while the pressure difference of thewater supply acts on the upper side of the diaphragm through the pulse tube.The set pressure difference is maintained by the internal structure and theadjustment spring

Type selection
We recommend using Figure6 toselect the diameter of the differential pressure balancing valve. The maximumflow rate is calculated according to the valve pressure difference of 10KPa,which ensures the efficient use of the pump and saves energy.
For example:
Known: pipe flow 200L/h, pipe diameter DN15Result: At the vertical axis flow 200L/h, make a horizontal line to the right,intersect with the bar chart, select DN15 valve.
The relationship between valve size andpipe size
The Kv value of each specification isdetermined based on a flow rate range of up to 0.8m/s at 10KPa valvedifferential pressure. As long as the flow rate of water in the pipe is between0.3 and 0.8 m/s, the valve size should be equal to the pipe size.
