The static balance valve has a dual coneconstruction that limits the maximum stroke of the cone and thus limits theflow rate. At the same time, it also has the shut-off function. The staticbalance valve is equipped with a flow measurement connector and a differentialpressure valve pulse tube interface. Please follow the procedure described below

Limitflow:

Turn the turn-off handel counterclockwise to opent he valve. the dial indicator on the handle will point to 0, turn the handle3 clock wise to the desired set value ( for example, if the set value is 2.2, simply rotate the handle twice with the dial indicator point to 2.2). Turn off the mandrel set nut counterclockwise with the six-edge screwdriver (until it feels Cannot twist). Turn the handlecounterclockwise so that the scale pointer points to "0"

The valve is still open and locked in theposition it was just adjusted to meet flow requirements (2.2). To cancel thesetting, turn the mandrel set nut clockwise with the six-angle screwdriver(until it feels Cannot twist).

Note: At the same time, the scale pointerof the switch off handle must point to "0".

To read the set point, the valve should beclosed.

Measurementof flow and differential pressure

The pressure drop of the valve can bemeasured with measuring equipment. When the connector is connected to the quickconnector of the measuring equipment, the measuring connector can be opened byturning it half a turn counterclockwise with an 8mm open end wrench.

Install

The differential pressure valve must beinstalled in the return pipe, and the direction of water flow should beconsistent with the direction of the arrow on the valve body.

The static balancing valve must beinstalled in the water supply pipe, and the water flow direction should beconsistent with the arrow direction on the valve body.

The pulse tube must be installed betweenthe static balancing valve and the differential pressure valve. The pulse tubemust be flushed before installation.

Whenperforming pressure tests on the system, it is necessary to ensure that thestatic pressure at both ends of the diaphragm is equal to prevent damage to thedifferential pressure controller. This means that the pulse tube must beconnected and all needle valves opened.

Whenthe system starts - open the differential pressure balancing valve and theclosing valve on the matching valve - make sure that the static pressure onboth sides of the membrane is equal, or that the static pressure on the topside is higher than that on the bottom side.

Whenopening the differential pressure balancing valve and supporting valve (orstatic balancing valve) for water injection, open the supporting shut-off valve(or static balancing valve) first, and then open the differential pressurevalve to ensure that there is pressure on the top of the membrane.
